  1. Eligibility for Inclusion

To be considered for inclusion on the South Norfolk and Broadland District tourism website, businesses, attractions, events, and services must: 

  • Be located within the boundaries of South Norfolk District or Broadland District. Very close businesses that sit just aside will be adopted on a business-by-business basis. 
  • Offer services or experiences relevant to tourism, leisure, hospitality, or cultural engagement. 
  • Hold all necessary licenses, insurance, and certifications required by UK law. 
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality, accessibility, and customer service. 
  1. Application and Approval
  • All submissions are subject to review and approval by the Economic Development and Tourism Team at South Norfolk and Broadland District Councils. 
  • Inclusion is discretionary and may be declined if the submission does not meet the required standards or is deemed unsuitable. 
  • The Councils reserve the right to request further information or clarification before approving a listing. 
  1. Content Standards
  • Listings must be accurate, current, and not misleading. 
  • All submitted content (including images, descriptions, and links) must be suitable for a general audience and comply with UK advertising standards. 
  • Content that is offensive, discriminatory, or unlawful will be rejected. 
  1. Responsibilities of the Listing Party
  • Ensure all information provided is correct and updated regularly. 
  • Notify the Councils of any changes to business operations, contact details, or offerings. 
  • Respond promptly to any queries or concerns raised by the Councils. 
  1. Removal or Suspension

South Norfolk and Broadland District Councils reserve the right to: 

  • Remove or suspend a listing at any time without prior notice if it breaches these terms. 
  • Remove listings that are inactive, closed, or no longer relevant to tourism in the area. 
  • Decline future applications from businesses that have previously breached these terms. 
  1. Liability and Disclaimer
  • Inclusion on the website does not constitute endorsement or recommendation by the Councils. 
  • The Councils are not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from the use of listed services. 
  • Users of the website are responsible for verifying the accuracy and suitability of any listed service or business. 
  1. Intellectual Property
  • By submitting content, the listing party confirms they have the legal rights to use and share all text, images, and media. 
  • The Councils may edit or adapt submitted content for clarity, consistency, or formatting purposes. 
  1. Data Protection
  • All personal data submitted will be handled in accordance with the Councils’ Privacy Policies and UK GDPR regulations. 
  • Contact details may be used to communicate updates, promotional opportunities, or service-related information relevant to tourism. 
  1. Amendments

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued inclusion on the website implies acceptance of the latest version.
