Norfolk Tank Museum, located at Forncett St Peter near Long Stratton, offers a unique, hands-on journey into military history. The museum houses an impressive collection of tanks, armoured vehicles, artillery, and small arms, mainly from the 20th century and Cold War era. Highlights include the replica WWI Mk IV tank “Deborah II,” Centurion tanks, and a Chieftain Main Battle Tank that visitors can climb inside. With interactive exhibits, off-road rides in a Hagglunds BV206, and family-friendly spaces, the museum combines education with excitement. Open seasonally, it’s a must-visit for anyone interested in engineering, wartime stories, and the machines of conflict.
